These databases range from national concurrence to local, county, or city jurisdictions. YOUR INFORMATION SOURCE has access to thousands of resource databases throughout the world. Personal information is usually not available outside the continental U. S., although it can be obtained on a case by case basis. We are on-line with many counties throughout the United States through subscriber access to the Justice Information Management System, which accesses criminal as well as civil information.
We routinely access legal criminal conviction information. Information throughout the country is recorded by county, borough or parish. There is no single source for this information except NCIC, which is also limited in states' participation. It is illegal for private use and federally prohibited with a $10,000 fine for the end user. We accomplish our research using various investigative methods. YOUR INFORMATION SOURCE can obtain most of the information via computer access within 36 to 48 hours. Other less cooperative states and counties require written authorization. Some counties and states are very prohibitive, i. e., Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Arkansas, and certain counties in California. Some have fees that are prohibitive. Obtaining data from these jusidictions often times takes longer than our normal 1 to 3 day turnaround.
